Have a great time and meet new friends at Leather Fiesta!
Bootblacking – In the Promenade – Friday 3:00-9:00 pm, Saturday 10 am – 9 pm
Visit our Leather Fiesta Bootblacks in or near the Garden Room on Friday and Saturday. Bootblacks help keep us looking great in our gear, operating with a passion for leather care and community service. Please be sure to thank your bootblack and tip generously. Your tips help cover a portion of the cost of supplies used to care for items and some of the cost bootblacks incur to travel to cons.
BIPoC Cigar and Smoking Social: A Round Table of Our Own –
As a follow on to the BIPoC awareness panel – an informal cigar and smoking social built for BIPOC community members. No agenda, no panel, no performance. Just a table, good smoke if you want it (non-smokers equally welcome), and room to talk freely about our experiences and how we support, promote, and protect each other in this community. All are welcome to attend; BIPOC voices and lived experiences hold the floor. If that is not your experience, come in the spirit of listening and support.
Welcome Session – Friday 7:00 – 7:45 pm – Garden Room
Join the Board of the New Mexico Leather League in the garden Room for an opening ceremony to inaugurate the conference. This will be a time to welcome everyone and be introduced to the Board members and the mission of the Leather League. Some basic rules for the convention will be elaborated on and everyone will get a chance to hear what new and exciting features will be present this year. A good place to give and receive introductions with your fellow attendees!
