SUMMARY:Dark Dynamics: When Your Dynamic Doesn't Always Play By the Rules
DESCRIPTION:Dark dynamics can take many forms—dark age play\, consensual non-consent (CNC) dynamics\, emotional S&M\, long-term gaslighting\, and many other manifestations. Yet all of these experiences often fall outside of the normative center of BDSM and power exchange\, sometimes challenging community assumptions about what is safe or reasonable. In this class\, we will explore dark dynamics through a practical lens. What is a dark dynamic and what does it require? Why would someone want to pursue a dark dynamic? What does risk mitigation look like in a dark dynamic\, and what happens when something goes wrong? Please note: this class will explore themes that may be challenging for some individuals. The presenters ask that attendees come to class with a sense of openness to those challenges and in an overall spirit of YKINMKATOK. (Your Kink Is Not My Kink And That’s OK.)

SUMMARY:Somatics Practices for Impact Play
DESCRIPTION:Impact play is among the most popular aspects of BDSM. Whether we can articulate it or not\, a lot of us come to this practice hoping for something transcendent–getting out of our brains and into our bodies\, building safety and trust with another person/people\, and exploring the edges of new experience. \nSomatic practices–breathing and movement exercises that speak to the nervous system/emotional self by way of the body–are a powerful tool for creating scenes that can approach that transcendent space. In this class\, you will learn: \n–Getting into the body: breath\, movement and meditation exercises that ground and prepare the body for intense* play (*how intense is always up to those playing!) \n–Communication and negotiation for impact and trampling: what to ask\, how to answer \,how to listen \n–Anatomy for perverts: managing safety and intensity \n–Basic techniques using hands\, feet and implements \n–Somatic responses during play: learning to read your partner \n–Somatics-based aftercare for grounding\, connection and integration \nThis will be an experiential workshop\, with plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion!

SUMMARY:TENS Units: The Art of Electrically Induced Ecstasy
DESCRIPTION:Want to make yourself\, your sub\, or your partner climax just from electrical play? To do this\, you need the right tools and an understanding of how to place electrodes so the signal flows through the body to properly stimulate erogenous zones. This electroplay class will cover using TENS units with the goal of evoking powerful sensations including orgasms. Unlike a violet wand\, TENS units can be tuned to produce an incredible array of complex and unique sensations\, from subtle and teasing\, to stingy and sharp\, to intensely pleasurable\, and even powerfully orgasm-inducing. While there is no such thing as a truly forced orgasm\, a TENS unit can bring a willing participant to the edge and often over it in incredibly powerful ways that can feel uncontrollable when they hit. In this class\, we’ll discuss the basics of TENS units\, accessories\, and safety. Then we’ll dive deep into electrode placement on different body types and genitals\, including a look at the nerves that aid in the induction of orgasm and how to stimulate those with the goal of climax.
