SUMMARY:Edgedancer
DESCRIPTION:Edgedancer is an informative\, discussion-based class for all experience levels\, exploring the topics surrounding what we define as edgeplay. Please note: this is not an edging class. Expect open conversation that includes uncomfortable and taboo subjects. \nThroughout the class\, we’ll examine how we have personally seen edgeplay defined\, how we define it for ourselves\, and how those definitions can shape the spaces we play in. Violet will offer a framework for defining edgeplay in a more useful\, practical way. \nThis is an interactive class with fillable notes and participation sections\, plus take-home personal checklists covering things to consider in\, about\, and prior to your play. There is no obligation to speak\, but sharing is encouraged\, as it brings more diverse experience into the conversation. \nBefore class\, all you need to do is take a few minutes to think about what you would define as edgeplay. \nGoal: Leave the class thinking more closely about your personal play. You’ll learn to identify the edges in your own play that may be making scenes riskier or less enjoyable\, and to focus intentionally on the areas where you’d like to grow.

SUMMARY:Dancing With Shadows
DESCRIPTION:How do you enter into a relationship or exchange when you don’t feel worthy? It can seem like those around you can play harder\, take more\, and know more than you. Impostor syndrome affects a lot of us no matter our actual experience level. By acknowledging some of my own insecurities\, and discussing some ideas on how we may try to work with those feelings\, reach out for support\, check for and on each other while we learn to see and accept ourselves a bit more.

SUMMARY:Foundations of Safe and Intentional Needle Play
DESCRIPTION:Play piercing is about far more than needles. It is an opportunity to build trust\, deepen communication\, explore sensation\, and discover how intentional pain can become connection. \nDesigned for beginners\, this class introduces the foundations of play piercing with an emphasis on safety\, consent\, and technical confidence. We’ll cover negotiation\, anatomy\, sterile practices\, equipment\, scene planning\, basic needle placement\, risk awareness\, and aftercare while exploring how to create scenes that are thoughtful\, intentional\, and meaningful. \nOnce we’ve covered the foundations\, we’ll put them into practice with an introduction to decorative needle play.  Participants will learn the basics of planning and creating a simple decorative element\, such as preparing and lining up a needle corset or creating a semi-permanent needle-and-bead jewelry piece. The focus will be on thoughtful design\, placement\, planning\, and safe execution rather than advanced techniques. \nAn optional\, supervised\, hands-on component will allow participants to practice the foundational techniques and/or decorative application. You may practice on yourself\, with a partner\, or simply observe; participation is never required. \nWhether your interest lies in service\, dominance\, submission\, artistry\, or simple curiosity\, this class offers a welcoming foundation for exploring needle play with intention\, creativity\, and care.
