Semenawa: Beautiful Suffering

In this demo and tie-along class students will learn about the concepts of Semenawa and its aesthetics, considerations for negotiating scenes, and three patterns that work together to form a foundational technique. Students should bring 6+ 25-30-ft sections of 6mm diameter rope and be confident with at least one non-collapsing single column in the rope material of their choice. Familiarity with uplines and a chest harness will allow the student to get the most from the class but are not required and will not be taught.
