Co Chair
Andrew
Andrew’s first experience advocating for LGBTQ issues was volunteering for Lambda law and advocating gay marriage over 20 years ago. He has been a part of the Albuquerque kink scene for nearly a decade. He organized the popular 8-ball Munch for nearly three years. He believes in the positive, transformative power of BDSM community.
Co Chair
Bryan
Bryan has been involved in the BDSM lifestyle since late 2001, when he still lived in New York city and ventured into the club “Paddles.” Since then he has been involved in the lifestyle either publicly or privately. Upon moving to Albuquerque, he became more active in the scene than he had been in many years, and has actively worked with organizations like NMLL, AEL and MaST for the betterment of the community. He has held different roles and helped organize events and fundraisers and has been a presenter at the monthly AEL power munch and for Education at the Wet Munch. When not involved in kinky activity he can be found… wait that happens?
Secretary
Alex (she/her)
Alex has been in the kink community for over six years and has never met a spreadsheet she didn’t want to color-code. As the Secretary of the New Mexico Leather League, she brings her hyper-organized energy (and a well-documented homework kink) to keeping records, taking notes, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Beyond her love of well-structured meeting minutes, Alex runs Safe Words: Reading for Pleasure, a kinky book club dedicated to exploring fiction and nonfiction about power, pleasure, and everything in between. Whether it’s organizing community resources or just ensuring everyone gets their action items done, Alex is ready to keep things running smoothly—with just the right amount of discipline.
Treasurer
Ghost of Maz
Ghost of Maz (he/him) is an Albuquerque native who has been active in the local kink community since 2021. While this is his first time serving on the Board, he has been a community organizer, activist, and non-profit leader for many different organizations ranging from industry trade groups to political advocacy grassroots movements.
As a small business owner, Ghost of Maz is passionate about managing NMLL’s finances in order to ensure the organization’s continued success. He believes that our collective ability to support each other, hold great events, and build NMLL’s future relies on good financial reporting and careful fiscal management.
